Ah yes, the ever present balance between being green and fitting into the culture of not-green, I know it all to well. Like the time my own first grader tearfully related that kids who brought wholesome and healthy lunches to school were made to eat at a separate table from the kids who bought their lunches. He certainly didn’t want to be at the uncool table with organic PB and J! I guess it’s all a balance and a little asking for forgiveness from Mother Earth.

We offset you this year for Valentines Day and I’m sure you offset me with respect to the green lunches.

PS-I went with my daughter to her school party and the kids all loved her homemade Valentines. So long as it’s not too uncool we’ll keep it up.

Way to go, Sue! Thanks for stopping by! -- Lynn

LOL about the offsets. We can credit you for 3 years of homemade preschool/PreK valentines. But we'll need to store up some offsets for the inevitable Princess Valentine onslaught in years to come.

It's a deal! :) -- Lynn
