Friday Savings Tip: Organic Coupons

April 11th, 2008

Remember the coupons that Mom clipped? They still come in the Sunday paper, but typically they’re for unhealthy processed foods and toxic cleaning products. Finding savings on green and organic products can be a challenge, which is why OrganicMania is posting about savings on Fridays, before most of us head out to do our weekend grocery shopping.

Do you know about Mambo Sprouts coupons? Through these coupon books, you can grab savings of 50 cents to $1.00 off popular organic items including Organic Valley milk, Ian’s™, Kashi™ cereal, Oregon chai, BACK to NATURE granola, and more.

They’re available in most organic grocery stores, but unfortunately some stock them at the check-out register. This makes no sense! You’ve already done your shopping by that point! If you’d like to plan your shopping trip before you reach the check-out, you can find the organic coupons online here.

Happy Shopping!

Thanks for this great information. Hopefully, more of these types of coupons will become available soon!

Thanks for addressing one of my *pet peeves* – I would love to clip coupons but nothing I buy is in the d*MN Sunday circulars. Sigh. I like those little booklets but where are the coupons for bulk flour and glass bottled milk?! and farmer’s markets?!!

Great info! I also found three free magazines in my health store took them home and flipped through to find that each magazine had three organic coupons. You can also buy them on Ebay searching for Organic Coupons.
And Safeway chain stores have a $10 off $50 coupon in a nationwide coupon book called Enjoy The City. They have an organic line but you have to read the labels.

Thank you so much for posting. This is quite timely – only an hour ago I was clipping coupons from my newspaper, thinking that I no longer get my money’s worth out of my newspaper subscription because the coupons are all for processed foods or toxic cleaning products that I don’t use.

I’m with you! I clip coupons mostly to use at CVS. We had some good deals going one week at our local grocery store where I could have gotten a lot of stuff for free, but every single thing was laden with high fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated oil. Even if it’s free, I don’t want it. I’m so glad to know there are more coupons for things I want to buy.
