Hey Lynn! It’s Clara, from la marguerite blog. Here’s my email. Starting on earth day, my school is selling reusable cloth ecobags to raise money for CBF (Chesapeake Bay Foundation). I am also hoping to participate in some local cleanups. We’ll see. Hopefully I won’t have too much homework!

Hi Clara, what a great school fundraiser! I wish more schools had fundraisers like this instead of selling overpriced gift wrap, hydrogenated corn syrup sweets, and non-free trade chocolates. I would love to profile what you are doing. I’ll be in touch!

I’ll be speaking at the N.O.W. state conference on Saturday on Purses, Peers, Posts and the Power to Move Green Markets, then pulling weeds at the shelter on Sunday. Getting dirty makes me happy. The melons, beans, tomatoes, peppers, onions and avocados are all up. The downside of Socal is that you never stop gardening.

i will be gardening on Earth Day, weather permitting.
and feeding my town chicks, future egg layers, backyard fowl. and turning flowerbeds into food beds.
